Get to Know Ms. D'Amore
Tiffany D'Amore, Supervisor of Special Education, joined North Penn School District in 2012. She began her career as an Emotional Support Teacher for the Philadelphia School District. Following Tiffany's experience in Philadelphia, she served as a teacher on special assignment for Cheltenham School District where she coordinated services for students in out of district placements and early intervention. During Tiffany's tenure at Cheltenham, she also taught in an alternative school at the high school level. She then became a Supervisor of Special Education for the Centennial School District where she supervised the middle school, high school, Early Intervention, and Extended School Year programs.
Tiffany earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and her masters degree in Special Education from Arcadia University. She obtained her Supervisor of Special Education certificate from Penn State University, and returned to Arcadia for her principal certification and Superintendent's Letters of Eligibility. Although medicine was Tiffany's first passion, while working at a summer camp and bonding with a child that exhibited challenging behaviors, she realized that she could help change the lives of children through education. Tiffany's goal is to ensure that every child receives the individualized supports and services that they deserve to achieve their personal goals and to fulfill their dreams. She strongly believes in supporting families and assisting them in navigating the complex educational system.
